Pat McMahon serves as EEA's branch manager for the New Mexico office where he's primarily responsible for overseeing New Mexico talent and engineering projects.
Coming to EEA in 2016, he works in new construction and renovations of HVAC deficiencies in mold contaminated facilities such as residential indoor swimming pools, Arboretums, and greenhouse facilities. He also has specialized experience in ventilation and exhaust systems, large chilled water plant facilities, and semiconductor facilities where tight humidity levels are required for optimum performance.
Pat brings more than 40 years of experience in the HVAC construction industry. Most recently, he was senior engineering manager for Vertterre Corporation. Before that, Pat served as product development/application engineer for manufacturers such as Trane Air Conditioning Company, Krueger Air Distribution, and Copeland Compressor.
Pat authored several engineering white papers while working for manufacturers in the HVAC Industry on air flow and ventilation criteria, chiller and boiler plant piping and specialized humidification and dehumidification systems for the Pharmaceutical Industry, Clean Room Applications and large indoor aquatic facilities.
Pat received his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University in 1983. He's a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in New Mexico and has taught courses for the local ASHRAE chapter on dehumidification of indoor swimming pools and other specialized systems.
