Fritz Stinson is responsible for EEA’s quality assurance program, design standards, and employee technical development. He also brings a servant role to EEA – training, mentoring, problem-solving, and encouraging.
Fritz has more than 40 years of experience in the design of mechanical and process utility systems with an extensive background in new and retrofit construction, analysis, and problem solving for institutional and industrial clients.
Fritz spent the first eight years of his career in the shipbuilding industry in Orange, TX. He designed the mechanical and electrical systems for offshore drilling and workover rigs – pumps and piping systems up to 10,000 psi, and power systems from the diesel-generators to SCRs for DC power for the big 1000HP drilling motors.
After joining EEA in 1984, he became immersed in HVAC design and energy conservation analysis. This led to upgrading millions of square feet at The University of Texas at Austin. Fritz’s focus since the early 1990’s has been in institutional and industrial facilities all over the USA and in Singapore, including clean manufacturing environments, pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, chemical storage facilities, fit up and installation of process manufacturing equipment, bulk chemical mixing and distribution systems, high purity process utility systems, and process exhaust and industrial ventilation systems. He has also provided lead engineering services for industrial planning, and facility infrastructure and process utility modeling.
Fritz received his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 1975. Fritz's enjoys spending time with his wife Jane of more than 40 years, his awesome family, and as a grandfather. He also likes watching college football.
Austin headquartered EEA Consulting Engineers is licensed in all 50 states and the District of Columbia for MEP engineering (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) services, energy conservation, commissioning, process utility engineering, and utility master planning. Since the company’s founding in 1977, the Austin engineering company has grown from two staff to now more than 80 personnel with offices in two states.
Our Texas engineers and New Mexico engineers have completed projects in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Singapore for central utility plants, commercial clients, data centers, the government and military, the high tech and semiconductor sector, higher education institutions, industrial facilities, pharmaceutical and biotechnology facilities, recreational parks and pools, religious institutions, and retail and senior living giants. EEA is an Austin American Statesman “Top Workplace” and has been a Consulting Specifying Engineer magazine “MEP Giant” multiple years (a top 100 MEP engineering firm in the USA).
