I moved to Austin with the intent of getting out of the Consulting Engineering business. I had been accepted into an MBA program, but there wasn’t a place for me until the following fall. I thought I’d find a job with a local firm and parlay that into part time employment while I pursued my MBA. I ended up liking it so much at EEA I decided to stay.
Early in my career at EEA I had the chance to live in, and manage projects in Columbia, MO for 6 months and in Singapore for 9 months. They provided some really unique opportunities and learning experiences that I value. I’ve come to find I enjoy managing large, multi-discipline projects that span multiple buildings and sometimes years.
I did finally decide to go back to school. Ten years after starting at EEA, I earned my Master’s Degree in Engineering Management while working full time.
Todd has served as project manager for projects ranging from $5M to over $100M construction cost.
