Today EEA Consulting Engineers Founder and President Mike Hart was appointed by Austin City Council Member Ellen Troxclair to the Mechanical and Plumbing Board.
The Mechanical and Plumbing Board’s purpose is to “hear and decide appeals of orders, decision, or determinations made by the Building Official relating to the application and interpretations of the Mechanical Code, Plumbing Code, and Solar Code,” according to the Board’s bylaws.
“I am honored to be appointed to this board and will bring my 40+ years working in the mechanical engineering and plumbing industry to solve challenges and give back to the community,” EEA President Mike Hart said. “I’m deeply grateful to Councilmember Ellen Troxclair for her nomination and the entire body’s approval. I look forward to meeting and working with the other ten Board members.”
The board is composed of 11 members who serve at the pleasure of the city council for four years beginning March 1st on the year of appointment.
