It was April of 1977 when EEA first opened its doors and began providing energy efficiency and renewable energy consulting and design services which included Department of Energy Institutional Conservation Program site reviews and inspections for 100+ grantees across 10 states.
While continuing to focus on energy conservation and efficient design, 10 years later EEA had diversified into existing building engineering services and new building design.
Over the last 40 years, EEA has grown to a 70 person company with offices in Austin, TX and Albuquerque, NM, with projects located nationwide and beyond. in 2015 we became a majority employee-owned company and will move to 100% employee-owned over the next few years.
We have been privileged to work for excellent clients and with excellent partners throughout this time. Here's to the next 40 years!
